Like the Island itself, our private guide service and outfitters reflect a passion for the road less traveled.

Sapelo is located seven miles off the mainland coast of Georgia. Larger than Bermuda and Manhattan, the island has less than 25 permanent residents. Loved for its primitive and undeveloped beauty, it remains in its natural state unmatched anywhere on the Atlantic Coast. Sapelo visitors say time stops when stepping off the ferry. For those of us who sojourn on the island, there’s an undeniable sense of living between centuries, a special place disconnected and cloistered away from the rest of the world.
We are a private outfitters and guide service that use 4WD jeeps to explore the outlying areas of the island. Many of our clients are professionals in academia, wildlife research and photography, ornithology, as well as broadcast and digital media. Some of our clients come from all over the world so it is important for them to stay on schedule, regardless of weather conditions. We do not add clients to your private excursion; we find this benefits our clients and encourages open discussions.
